Deborah started Flipside Dance four years ago in September 2007 after hanging her own professional dancing shoes up. Flipside began with only 6 students and operating just one hour a week, now there are 72 students, three different styles of dance including hip hop/street dance, Jazz and Ballet and operating 14 hours a week.  Flipside Dance School is based in Surrey.

The aim of the school is to let the students have fun, it is a non exam based school, but you still get the best technique from the ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop/street dance classes. We aim to keep the classes small and put the students in the correct level so that every student gets the most out of their class and teacher. Every year the timetable is updated with more hours and styles to keep FSD fresh and funky.

We aim to do one show and one competition per year. All students are welcome to take part in all the shows and competitions. We teach private lessons to those who want to do solos, duets, trio’s and it is on a first come first served bases with the time slots available.

FSD is a funky all-round fun and dedicated dance school that aim to produce well-rounded students, but most importantly to have every student smiling as much as possible.
