Deborah Rich Director of Flipside Dance
‘Deb’s’ as she likes to be called started dancing at the age of three doing jazz and tap, then started contemporary and ballet at the age of twelve when she joined the ‘Ribz’ Dance Company and Scottish Youth Ballet. Deb’s commenced her full time training at the Northern Contemporary School in Scotland where she was lucky enough to work with Wayne McGregor ‘Random Dance Company’. Monica Harrington
Monica Harrington was born in Sydney, Australia. After training with Halliday Dance Centre she moved to Perth to do a Diploma in Dance at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. While in Perth, Monica was taught by some of Australia’s leading dancers including David Prudham and Lucette Aldous and performed many different pieces of choreography by both students and leading Australian choreographers. In 2001 Monica moved back to Sydney where she taught and choreographed for DanceMax and also choreographed for the International Poets Convention. [Read More]

Carla Nicholson (BA HONS, A..I.S.T.D)
Carla started training at a young age of 3 at Dance Consortium and then went on to complete her professional training at Middlesex University and gained a 1st class honours degree in dance performance and choreography. Since then she has toured with many contemporary companies as well as choreographing prestigious shows and events for royalty, her latest credits have been gaining the Marion Roberts Choreographic Cup for the past 2 years, choreographing "Cabaret" for the Queen of Spain and working with resident west end choreographer and producer Christina Cartwright. Emma Joy

Emma has just completed a professional degree in theatre dance at the 'London Studio Centre', after touring in her final year with contemporary dance company Intoto. She performed in Kate Brown’s Too Late Too Late 2009, collaborated on a dance film for the Wellcome Trust in 2009 and has choreographed various projects including the opening of the Eurostar 2008, and Design for Dance 2008. Sarah Swinfield

Sarah began her training at Marjorie Wise School of Dance and went on to study Ballet and Contemporary Dance to a professional level at the Rambert School. Since Graduating she has performed with Fine and Dandy Dance Company, Ambidextrous, Two’s Company Dance and Music and Moving Visions Dance Company as well as performing as one of the world-renowned Covent Garden street performers with Ballet, Contemporary and Flamenco shows. Samantha Jackson

Sam began dancing and performing aged just 2 years old and hasn't stopped since, completing her training at the London Studio Centre in 2008 she went on a tour of Austria with the play 'Virgins' by John Retallack and returned march 09 to join the cast of 'Thriller Live' at the Lyric Theatre. Christopher Unwin

Christopher has been acting, singing and dancing from the age of six, appearing in various pantomimes, musicals, plays and was also a children’s member of the RSC. He went on to gain a Btec in performing arts at Stratford-upon-Avon college and whilst there was privileged enough to be the principle character (Horton) in the UK Premiere of Suessical the Musical- with permission from the Broadway creative team. Tamsyn Salter

Tamsyn started dancing at the age of 3 at her local ballet school, and performing at the age of 7 in pantomimes and musicals. She trained and qualified as a ballet teacher for the BBO, and as a tap and modern teacher for ISTD in Somerset, before moving to London to go to the Dance Theatre Academy for 3 years of dance and musical theatre training. Since leaving there (many years ago!) she has worked as a performer in dance companies, West End musical theatre, and cabaret, and as a recording backing vocalist. She currently performs as one half of the internationally renowned cabaret duo The Kitsch Kittens. [Read More]
Lucy Anderson
Lucy was born in Washington, DC and started dancing at the age of 3 at the McLean school of ballet and dance. Upon moving to England in 1996 she continued her dance training in Oxford and in 2002 was offered a place at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, graduating with Distinction in 2005. Since then, Lucy has been working as a freelance Contemporary dancer performing with companies and choreographers such as First Family productions, Opera Holland Park, LoCommotion Dance Company and Anya Ison Wallace Contemporary Ballet as a soloist.[Read More]
Grace Hoy
Grace Hoy was born and raised in Surrey until she joined the Arts Educational School, Tring Park at the age of eleven. Throughout her time at Tring Park Grace also trained and performed with the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain, dancing various principal roles including Alice in Wayne Sleep’s Wonderland- Scenes from Alice. Grace then joined the Royal Ballet Upper School where she danced the female soloist role in Natalie Weir’s Jabula during the school’s tour to Palermo, Sicily. Whilst there she also danced in productions with the Royal Ballet, with Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet being a particular highlight. After leaving school Grace joined Scottish Ballet and began her professional career in dance, and later joined the English National Ballet.
Upon leaving English National Ballet Grace turned her attention to musical theatre and joined the UK and International 50th Anniversary Tours of West Side Story, where she also acted as ballet mistress for the cast members. Grace was then cast in the arena tour of CATS where she danced the role of Etcetera. [Read More]
Roxy Fitzgerald
From the age of 3 Roxy has been singing, dancing and acting, attending classes at different stage schools such as Italia Conti. At 13, Roxy performed in musicals like 'Annie' and 'Barnum' in the Wimbledon Theatre with the Songtime Theatre Company.
Roxy has been one of Deborah's students for many years and was one of the first students at Flipside Dance. Roxy left Flipside to take up her place on the Foundation Course in Theatre Arts at the East 15 Acting School which helped her to gain a place on the BA Acting Course at the Guildford School of Acting the following year. At GSA, Roxy performed numerous times at The Mill Theatre in Guildford in plays such as 'Hard Feelings' and 'The Cabinet Minister' where she took leading roles. Graduating this year 2011, Roxy has already worked as a professional actress in commercials for Walkers Crisps and Gatorade and featured in many short films such as 'Locked Out', 'The Book of Death' and 'Wasted' which was entered into the Cannes Film Festival. Roxy has also worked as an online presenter for some new websites and is enjoying her exciting start to her career in the acting industry. [Read More]
Rob Kilburn
Rob Kilburn is highly trained in performing arts after attending the Italia Conti Academy Of Theatre Arts in London, one of the leading performing arts colleges.
After graduating from Italia Conti, Rob started his own entertainments company called Limelite Events which was established in 2007 to provide exciting and unusual events, both private and corporate. [Read More]
